Are you looking to make your Thursday on Kauai memorable and special? Here are some ideas that could help! Kauai is full of hidden gems. Let's explore some of its best kept secrets.

#1 The Hindu Monastery in Kapaa

Visit one of the world's most historic and active monasteries. Once a week, you can enjoy a guided tour. You meet at the Monastery entrance in the gazebo at 9 am. The public tour is about 90 minutes and is free (donations welcome). Call ahead as days and times do vary.

From the website: "Nestled under a sacred volcano, painted with waterfalls, rainbows, jungles, and flowers, sits Kauai's Hindu Monastery. A true place of peace. Here the sounds of the world fade away, until all that's left is the flowing river, singing birds, rippling leaves, and the resounding echo of the soul."
