Taste the Flavors of Poʻipū

The Poʻipū Beach Resort Association (PBRA) will host the 5th Annual Poipu Food & Wine Festival, from October 19th through October 22nd. The two-day event will celebrate Kauaʻi’s diverse culinary resources and talents, while supporting the Culinary Arts Program at Kauai Community College (KCC).

Wednesday, October 19th | 3:30 - 6:00pm

Come for the food, stay for the music.

Discover the freshest island ingredients at the weekly Kauaʻi Culinary Market hosted by the Shops at Kukuiʻula in partnership with the Kauaʻi County Farm Bureau, October 19th from 3:30 to 6:00pm in the traditional pau hana (after work) style. As local musicians serenade, shop the open-air market exploring locally grown fruits, vegetables and coffee, along with spices, jams and other culinary delights.

At 5:00pm, make your way to the Palm Court for a special culinary demonstration by the students of the Kauaʻi Community College Culinary Arts Program. Students will utilize fresh, local ingredients and offer small plates for purchase.

Proceeds to benefit the KCC Culinary Arts School.

Event is free with beer and wine and small plates for purchase.

Poʻipū Paʻina
Saturday, October 22tnd | 5:30 - 8:30pm

An exquisite epicurean event highlighting the students of the Kauaʻi Community College Culinary Arts Program and featuring some of Hawaiʻi’s finest chefs and perfectly paired wine, live music and a silent auction.

A portion of the proceeds from the Gala help with the continued development of KCC’s Culinary Arts Program by providing financial assistance for students in need. The Program trains approximately 60 students a year and many of the graduates go on to find jobs in the local culinary industry.

The Poʻipū Paʻina is hosted by the Poʻipū Beach Foundation and Southwest Airlines and in partnership with Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.
