Description

This tropical 3 bedroom artist-owned island home has everything for the perfect getaway, with two units in one for maximum privacy and comfort. Upstairs has a master suite with king size bed and bath. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds and separate bath. Living, dining and full kitchen with large covered lanai (deck) with dining area and lounging area complement the upper floor plan.

The downstairs studio apartment has a full kitchen and king bed. All 3 bathrooms have a tub/shower combo. There's an additional roomy outdoor shower and changing area too.

The Bird’s Nest is the perfect vacation spot for anyone. The home is within a block to the beach and Hanalei Town, with dining, shops and activities to keep everyone entertained. It's also walking distance to bars, live music, hula, and dancing. Take a stroll to farmer’s markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays, coffee cafe, fresh fish, and sushi bars. There are yoga studios, health food and grocery stores, and of course, the most beautiful beach in the world, Hanalei Bay, with its seasonal surfing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and snorkeling. Lifeguard, pavilion, and conveniences are all nearby: Ching Young Village, Lumaha'i, Tunnels, Ke'e, Napali Coast tours and more!

The beautifully built lanai make you feel like you are living in a bird's nest. You can spend the whole day enjoying the breathtaking views of waterfalls and sunsets, and dine outdoors on the comfortable and spacious covered lanai. There is a custom built outdoor shower of bamboo and rock, which makes you feel like you are taking a shower in a garden; there is nothing quite like it for feeling refreshed and renewed.

The upstairs kitchen is outfitted for easy entertaining and cooking, with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Enjoy the BBQ grill and the beautiful outdoor garden and lanai, free WiFi, and free onsite parking.

Rental was exactly what my partner and I needed.
Perfect distance from the beach, stores/restaurants , and mountains. It was great to be able to walk everywhere in town or bike.
We felt instantly relaxed in the home with fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and restorative showers. Owner/ rental company is also quick to respond and assist when needed.
Coming from a hectic work quarter to this paradise was exactly what we’d hoped for.

This is the perfect place to stay while visiting Hanalei Bay and North Shore Kauai. The home is beautiful, with comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces, including a beautiful outdoor shower. The upper deck has views of the mountains and waterfalls (when it's rainy). It's a short and flat walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the center of town. Restaurants and shops are just a few blocks away. Good communication made the visit easy. The atmosphere and surroundings make this a truly relaxing and convenient place to stay (loved the outdoor shower with a full moon out), and I would 100% return in a heartbeat. Thank you!

This home is located perfectly between to town of Hanalei and the beach. It is an easy walk in either direction. My family has been lucky enough to stay at this home for the last two years. We love the big deck with beautiful views of the mountains and waterfalls. The kitchen and living room is so comfortable and has everything you need to make food at the house. Also if you are there in the warmer months, there is AC which was very nice at night. I would highly recommend this place!

The location is the perfect distance from the town of Hanalei and the beautiful local beaches. My wife, daughter and I both loved the mountain views of the waterfalls as well as the sunset colors in the evenings. The house has all the amenities you could ask for. We loved the large outdoor balcony space for dining, taking in the spectacular views and enjoying the warm weather. The house has lots of privacy given the beautiful selection of outdoor plants. The beds and linens were exceptional. The neighborhood is quite which was great for catching up on some sleep from our busy lives. There is even a well designed hot outdoor shower for keeping all the sand out of the house. The owner is very kind to provide beach toys, bikes and snorkeling gear. We have been lucky enough to stay multiple times. When we visit Kauai again this is the only spot we would stay at. Highly recommend for couples and families!

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Nice property. We had a wonderful stay for a month and look forward to returning. Location is key. We had three in our party 80 years or older and the close proximity to town was a big plus.

Very comfortable for our family of 4. We didn't use the 3rd bedroom - we'd anticipated our older child would sleep there but it really is a separate apartment quite detached from the main living space. The house was clean and quiet (those windows really block out the roosters!) and we loved the beach toys/boogie boards. The outdoor shower was a highlight for each of us! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

A great place in the middle of the small Hanalei village. The house is 100 yards from the beach and 100 yards from the grocery store. Well-appointed and equipped, well managed and we would like to be back.

We were so impressed with the beauty and comfort of this home. The lifted living space has gorgeous views of lush green hills and we were fortunate enough to see waterfalls on them!
It is a short walk to the beach and Hanalei is a quaint and lovely small town with shops and places to eat.
We enjoyed touring the island and enjoying fresh fruit and fish.
The unit is comfortable and has everything we needed for a relaxing and cozy island vacation. It is a spacious home for my whole family. We loved the outdoor shower and changing spot for the kids. 10 out of 10 recommend!
